Loch Ness - what was that?

Whilst we didnt see the Loch Ness monster, we did see this unusual fish!

Scotland - Loch Ness

On the 6th and 7th of June, we hired a Fiat Bravo and took a trip up to Loch Ness. It is a beautiful part of the country and we really enjoyed the driving around this area.
We called in at Bruar for a nice lunch and then drove to the Dalwhinnie whisky distillery where we did an interesting tour.
We then drove via Aviemore to Inverness and then down to Castle Urquhart (the castle in these photos).
We stayed in a B&B close to Castle Urquhart in a lovely small village called Drumnadrochit.

Linlithgow to Falkirk walk

Sorry for the lack of posts..I have been slack!

A few weeks ago, we did the Linlithgow to Falkirk walk.
It was a really nice day out.
The walk is 9 miles long and is mostly along the Union Canal.
We picked up some salad's from Marks and Spencers and had a nice picnic by the canal.
