Suckling pigs in the kitchen being prepared for roasting.
For Christmas dinner, we went to the oldest restaurant in the world!!
Botin restaurant has been operating consistantly from 1725 and their specialty (which i had for my main course) is roast suckling pig. The pig is only 3 weeks old but is tasty!
It is expensive though..you are paying for the fact that it is the oldest restaurant in the world (it is in the Guiness book of world records).
Kirsty had the veal (pays to stay away from Botin restaurant if you are a young animal as you are likely to end up in the pot) and we also had some Sangria (and bought the crockery jug it came in as a souvenir as we thought it was very nice).
While we missed our families, it was a nice way to spend Christmas evening.
