Pitlochry

Some photos from our trip to Pitlochry last weekend. We had a fantastic time. Beautiful part of the country. Definitely recommend it!
We waited for an hour for our rental car to arrive from the airport (we had booked it two weeks earlier, so you would have thought it would be ready and waiting for us! - Thanks Europcar!). Meant we didnt get away that early on the Sat morning but that was ok as it is only about 1.5 hours away to the North.

As you can see in the last photo, the roads are nice. We had a peppy diesel Peugeot 207 for the weekend.

We stayed in a great B&B called Craigatin House. Recommended! It has been voted the 5th best B&B in Europe apparently and had very good reviews on Tripadvisor.

There are many great walks in this area with large picturesque lochs, lakes and snow capped mountains.
